Jane Tyrrell Joins Nanny Cay As Hotel & Property Manager
Jane is responsible for the overall performance and quality of the hotel, the townhouses and eventually the new peninsula condominiums.
She is originally from New Zealand but after departing her home country as a teenager, has spent almost her entire adult life in other countries, both travelling and working.

Nanny Cay is home away from home for Aaron Williams. For 26-years, the 44-year old BVIslander has worked at Nanny Cay, 20 of them at the boatyard, where he is currently employed. His current job title is Travelift Operator but Aaron has functioned in several capacities over the years. He has served as a mechanic, working on the boats and he has also assisted with “office work” as he termed it.

If you’ve ever eaten in the relaxed outdoor dining are at Genaker’s or just had a drink at the bar, you probably would have encountered him. Devon Anthony Rowe, a resident of the BVI for the last 16 years, has been employed at Genaker Cafe since 1999 as a bartender and waiter. He can also be found at the Beach Bar some evenings.

Violet Prosper, Budget MarineViolet is one of the many smiling faces you will find at Nanny Cay. She is a BVI marine industry veteran having arrived in the BVI in 1994 and working at Stardust Marine, Sun Yacht Charters, and Sunsail before joining the Nanny Cay family at Budget Marine in September 2007.
A Dominican and mother of two girls 22 and 17 – one studying Psychology and one aiming to become a Coroner – Violet is the Store Supervisor and second in command to manager, Theresa Williams.
