Homegrown Racing App For BVI Spring Regatta
SailRacer, brainchild of Nanny Cay’s IT guru and keen racing sailor, Adrian Sinton, is a suite of apps that work in synchronicity to bring shared weather and mark location data to both regatta officials and competitors alike.
SailRacer is a sponsor of this year’s BVI Spring Regatta which will be using the race committee mobile app Sailracer RC and Sailracer Basic applications.
Docks Fillings Up For BVI Spring Regatta 2016
Registration opens today for some 110 boats and crews in the 45th BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival. The buzz is building shore-side, with the event Village under construction and docks filling up here at Nanny Cay.
VX One Fleet To Compete At BVI Spring Regatta
For the first time, a VX One fleet of eleven boats will be mixing it up with its larger brethren out on the waters of the British Virgin Islands in the 45th edition of the BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival.
The VX One is a relatively new one-design sport boat that’s gained much popularity in the past few years. Sailors from around the globe, including Australia, Canada, St. Croix and the USA, have teamed up to form the first VX One fleet to race the Caribbean Cup – March 25-27 at St. Thomas International Regatta (STIR)and April 1-3 in the BVI Spring Regatta – an exciting new addition to both events which brings new competitors into the mix.

With a different race course every day and guaranteed no-two-days-of-racing-the-same sets BVI Spring Regatta apart from other yacht racing events. Fabulous beach parties every evening are the only way to end a perfect day of warm-water Caribbean racing. With a long-time home base here at Nanny Cay where families can also enjoy all that Tortola and the surrounding islands offer, the event offers something for everyone.
Over 40 Boats Registered For Round Tortola Race In BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival
The 2016 BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival is gearing up to be a “Year Not to Be Missed”, and the kick off will be the Round Tortola Race on March 29th. Over 40 boats have already entered for this year’s race.

Another busy year for Nanny Cay.
