Last year’s event drew 64 participants to the competition and things are looking bigger and better this year with the added classes and the new “Triple Crown” up for grabs. Teams are expected from St Maarten and Antigua and there will be a very special dinner with a “Mystery Guest Chef” at the Royal BVI Yacht Club on Saturday evening, May 4th, the proceeds of which will go toward our Youth Sailing Program activities. For more information visit the Royal BVI Yacht Club web site.
The Virgin Island “Triple Crown” comprises three regattas over three weeks, with the winner of all three taking the “Triple Crown. The Cruzan Open was the first in the series, the St. John’s Regatta on 26 & 27 April forming the second in the series, and the BVI Dinghy Championships on the 4 & 5 May is the final regatta.
