Clcik photo to enlargeWell, the all-important beer tent is up – but not yet stocked – and yachts have been flooding into the docks all day with many of them having come straight from the Rolex Regatta.

Registration for the Sailing Festival opened at noon today and closes at 6pm when the welcome party starts in the Peg Leg bar and restaurant which overlooks the entrance to Nanny Cay and the Sir Francis Drake Channel.

At last count there were 47 yachts registered for the Bitter End Cup, part I of the Sailing Festival.  The fleet will start off Nanny Cay Marina at 10am tomorrow and head up to the Bitter End Yacht Club in the North Sound, Virgin Gorda.
