The 37th annual BVI Charter Yacht Society (CYS) Charter Yacht Show just concluded here at Nanny Cay. The four-day event held November 6-9 saw CYS members, visiting charter yachts, brokers and other industry partners mingling at the seventh event to be held at Nanny Cay.
Forty-five yachts vied for attention from the 120 or so visiting brokers over the four days of boat viewing which also saw a number of supporting events and seminars including a Business Expo and official opening of the Charter Yacht Show on Tuesday night; a “Take Me To The Movies” themed Yacht Hop where crew dressed up themselves and yacht to reflect a movie; a culinary contest with a focus on best vegan dishes this year; and farewell dinner and awards beachside under the tents with saxophonist Kamau Georges and his band closing the evening.
