Debra, our marina attendant, hails from Dominica and has been working at Nanny Cay for the last seven years, joining from Samuel Security. She arrived in the BVI in 1995, she’s the mother of three children: two boys, 19 and 12, and a 14 year old girl.
Debra can be found flitting between the fuel dock where she “takes the money” and the marina office where she takes the reservations and encourages management to squeeze a customer in on their favourite dock.
Favourite part of the job: Meeting different people and getting to know them.
What do you think people like about Nanny Cay Marina? “It’s a good marina, with good facilities, the shower blocks, pool, beach, the two restaurants, and a Budget Marine on-site.”
