The Royal British Virgin Islands Yacht Club’s Annual Dinghy Championships will take place at Nanny Cay from May 16 to 18.
This is the flagship event of the Youth Programme, a showcase of the racing achievements, and a major fundraiser. The money fundraised in this event goes 100% to the Youth Sailing Development Programme in support of instructor wages and equipment maintenance, and acquisition.
This event is for Optimist, Laser, 420 and IC24 sailboats and is open to both young and old sailors alike. $75pp entry fee includes two days competitors lunch & HIHO event shirt.
To raise further funds, the Royal BVI Yacht Club in collaboration Nanny Cay, Bounce, and the other sponsors, has organized a special BVI Dinghy Champs Lounge Bar and three action-packed nights of entertainment. The Lounge Bar will be set up on the deck at Nanny Cay from Friday to Sunday with all proceeds going to the youth development programme.
