We’ve upgraded the Sol fuel dispensers and moved them to middle of one of the new megayacht docks (K dock). There are now two diesel and one gas dispenser, and each has a 100-foot hose. Importantly for customers, the new dispensers have a digital readout that shows the cost of the fuel as well as the gallons pumped.
“These new pumps on our new docks will enable us to better serve our visiting yachts and substantially reduce, if not eliminate, the need to standoff and wait for a previous yacht to leave the dock,” said Brendan, marina manager. “We can now have up to four yachts under 60 feet alongside at the same time where they can be fueling, filling up with fresh water, and using the pump-out facility on the same dock at the same time.”
These additions are part of the Nanny Cay’s continuing efforts over recent years to improve the facilities. These have included: the recent installation of a pump-out station; installation of five Walcon superyacht berths each capable of taking yachts up to 40 metres in length; 100% site-wide backup power including all docked yachts with 110 or 220 volt power; the installation of an R/O watermaking plant; the installation of a sewage and wastewater processing plant; the building of luxury shower facilities and restrooms for dock guests.
