Transatlantic Training Run to BVI From Antigua
Team Antigua docked at Nanny Cay today after a 200-mile, 48-hour training row from Antigua to the BVI. Team Antigua are competing in the 2017 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, a 3,000 mile rowing race starting on December 12th in San Sebastian de La Gomera, Spain and finishing in Antigua. Queen’s Baton Lands At Nanny Cay
The Queen’s Baton (Relay) landed at Nanny Cay on Monday as it passed through the British Virgin Islands on its tour of all the Commonwealth countries on its way to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia. The Baton was delivered by HE John Duncan, Governor of the BVI, onboard the Tortola Sloop Intrepid. It then headed over Tortola to Cane Garden Bay.
